Unstable onion
The onion website is often unreliable, so you have to use clearnet over Tor instead.
Email address
Njalla requires either an email address or XMPP to create an account. You can create an XMPP account without an email address and then use it to sign up for Njalla, but that will require installing an XMPP client.
No email services
Njalla blocks ports used by SMTP, so you won't be able to send emails from your VPS.
